Dr A P Olalusiis an Associate Professor of Agricultural Engineering. He has taught various courses and doing research in the areas of Bioenergy, Storage and Food Engineering at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has also supervised 3 PhD theses, 13 M.Eng dissertations and over sixty (60) undergraduate projects and presently supervising eight (8) M.Eng and eight (8) PhD candidates. He won a N10.2 million naira World Bank Research Grant for the University during the 2014/2015 academic session and 24,950 Euro from Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa and BiomassWeb, Germany, Research grant to facilitate Mass and energy balance analysis of pneumatic dryers for cassava and development of optimization models to increase competitiveness in 2016 to 2018. He was nominated as the Best Inventor of the Year in the University Excellence and Productivity Award, 2015. He had served in various capacities and committees at the University. Dr Olalusi demonstrates very high professional competence and he is a seasoned engineer.
