Chukwuka, Michael Osanebi attended Aganju-Aka Primary, Kemberi Okokomaiko, Ojo L.G.A., Lagos State. Upon completion of his primary education, he proceeded to Mike Comprehensive High School, Igbede-Ajangbadi, Ojo L.G.A., Lagos State for his secondary education. In 2006, Michael got admission to study music in the Department of Creative Art, University of Lagos where he majored in voice and specialised vocal music, Choir training and choral conducting. In 2010, Michael obtained a Bachelor of Art degree and upon his return from his compulsory National Youth Service in 2012, he got admission to study for his second degree. In 2014, he obtained his Master of Art degree with a distinction in Ethnomusicology. He is currently a PhD student of music in the Department of Creative Art, Faculty of Arts, University of Lagos. Michael now lectures with the Mountain Top University as an assistant lecturer in the Department of music. As an Ethnomusicologist, Michael is interested in investigating and documenting the music of the Ukwuani people of Niger Delta, Nigeria for his research area. Michael is a member of the Association of Nigerian Musicologists (ANIM).
