Department of computer science and mathematics

The Department of Computer Science and Mathematics is in the College of Basic and Applied Sciences (CBAS) at Mountain Top University, MFM Prayer City, Ogun State, Nigeria. It has about thirty in-house and adjunct staff working together on research, teaching and academic supports. The department has over 300 undergraduate students and post graduate students. The Department is well equipped with world class laboratories, such as: hardware laboratory, cyber- security laboratory, digital simulation laboratory and a mathematical laboratory.

The computer science programme is planned to provide individuals with the opportunity of obtaining broad knowledge and skills in both theoretical and practical aspects. Students are taught and trained on how to write programs or problem solving, software and application development, thus, leading to production of highly innovative and creative graduates that are competent enough the stand on their own in the labour market.
