Department of Mass Communication

The Department of Mass Communication at Mountain Top University, established in the 2016/2017 academic session, is committed to developing the total person—body, mind, and spirit—through comprehensive education in mass communication. The department offers excellent facilities and world-class faculty, primarily holding doctorate degrees, to provide rigorous training in various areas of mass communication, including broadcast, print, public relations, and advertising. Our undergraduate program is designed to produce graduates who are academically and professionally empowered with the competencies required to serve society effectively. Students are also morally and spiritually strengthened to excel in their personal and professional lives.

Advocacy and Oversight: Training individuals to act as voices for the marginalized, serve as watchdogs over governmental bodies, and uphold the responsibilities inherent to the Fourth Estate. Global Relevance: Preparing graduates to be globally pertinent by integrating innovations in Information Technology, enabling them to create communication materials that address societal needs through research-based approaches. Problem-Solving Partnership: Fostering a collaborative spirit in graduates to actively seek solutions to the myriad challenges facing society today.
