The Mountain Top University community, on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, came together in an atmosphere of gratitude and celebration to honour two remarkable personalities whose lives and contributions have left indelible marks on the university, Nigeria, and the global community.
The special event marked the birthdays of the Founder and Chancellor of Mountain Top University, Professor D. K. Olukoya—a Professor of Biotechnology and General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) Worldwide—and his wife, Dr. (Mrs.) Folashade Olukoya, whose dedication, compassion, and unwavering support continue to drive the vision of the institution.

The ceremony featured inspiring praise and worship sessions, melodious musical performances, and heartfelt tributes from across the university. Delivering his birthday tribute, the Vice-Chancellor of Mountain Top University, Professor Elijah Ayolabi, celebrated the extraordinary lives of Dr. D. K. Olukoya and his wife, describing them as living proof that true impact is developed through discipline, vision, perseverance, and unyielding commitment to God's purpose.
