Mountain Top University (MTU) hereby unequivocally dissociates itself from ProConnect Educational Ventures Limited (“ProConnect”).
For the avoidance of doubt, ProConnect has no partnership, affiliation, agency, representation or other formal relationship whatsoever with Mountain Top University, and has not been authorised by the University to recruit candidates, communicate admission offers, collect acceptance fees or any other fees, or act in any capacity on behalf of the University.
The reported collection of ₦18,500 acceptance fee from prospective students by ProConnect, including through WhatsApp groups, is therefore unauthorised and has no connection with Mountain Top University.
Prospective students, parents and guardians are strongly advised not to make any payment to ProConnect or through any channel associated with it in connection with admission into MTU. The University shall not be responsible for any payment or transaction made through such unauthorised channels.
All admission information and payments should be obtained and made strictly through MTU's official communication channels and designated payment platforms.
The University is taking appropriate steps to address the matter and reserves the right to take necessary administrative and legal action.
