NUC Gives the Nod to Kick off New Academic Programmes in MTU

A new feather was added to the beautiful cap of Mountain Top University as the University receives the approval of the National Universities Commission (NUC) to establish 7 new programmes. The new programmes are Fine and Applied Arts, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Geology, Physics with Electronics, Industrial Chemistry and Securities and Investment. This brings to 27, the total number of programmes in the University. Admission into these programmes is ongoing in the current 2020/2021 academic session. It is pertinent to mention at this juncture that all the old programmes of the University (20 in number) are fully accredited by the NUC.
Similarly, some post graduate programmes have equally been approved to take off in the current academic session. They are Post Graduate Diploma (PGD), Masters (MSc) and M.Phil/Ph.D programmes in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Computer Science.
With the establishment of these programmes, Mountain Top University can boldly exclaim in joy saying, “Thus far has the Lord helped us”.
