Biography:

Dr Helen Olubunmi Jaiyeola Akinade is the University Librarian of the Mountain Top University, Ogun State, Nigeria. She held Ph.D in Library and Information Science, M.Phil in Applied Anthropology as well as MLS in Library Studies. Her research focus is on Users Studies, Library Management, Behavioural Studies and Information Awareness. She has published several articles in National and International Journals, Conference proceedings and Encyclopaedia. A Chartered Librarian as well as Fellow Institute of Corporate Administration with huge background in the Arts and Social Sciences.

She commands a wealth of experience in both Federal Civil Service and Academic Community working in several positions not only as a Librarian but also as an administrator. Her experiences over the years span around the Reader, Technical and Library administration. She has also serves as consultant to other private institutions on Library matters. She is a member of Nigerian Library Association and Media Librarian Association of Nigeria. Dr H.O.J. Akinade is happily married with a son.
