Federal Government Declares Wednesday, May 1, Public Holiday

PUBLIC HOLIDAY
The Federal Government has declared Wednesday, 1st May, 2024 as public holiday to mark this year’s Workers Day.
The University Management has approved that the University should observe the holiday as announced by the Federal Government. Members of staff on essential duties are however expected to be at their duty post.
Members of staff are expected to resume for normal activities on Thursday, 2nd May, 2024.
However, the following categories of staff are to be on ground as required:
Medical Centre, Housekeepers, Porters, Security and Physical Planning, Works and Services (Facility Managers, Electricians, Plumbers, etc.).
